lactation visits: feeding support in the comfort of your home

The newborn feeding relationship is a sacred one. A new, tiny person relies on you for food, comfort and connection. It can be wildly beautiful and overwhelming at the same time. Witnessing this relationship unfold and supporting families on their journey is one of my greatest joys.

I believe that all new parents deserve compassionate lactation support that is not rushed or one size fits all. I like to get a comprehensive picture of your experience: your birth, how you’re recovering, what your support system looks like, and how you’re feeling about feeding your baby.

As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), I complete continuing education to be current on maternal health and infant feeding research. I can help you sift through the information and advice you may have received from providers, family, and friends. I’m there to listen to your goals, and work together to create a plan.

lactation support

initial visit, 90 minutes: $125

follow up visit, 60 minutes: $95

Prenatal visit, 60 minutes: $95

All lactation sessions take place in your home. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible when experiencing any physical or emotional discomfort while nursing. Small adjustments at the beginning of your journey can make all the difference in reaching your lactation goals.

Meeting prenatally may be beneficial if you have concerns about breast anatomy, you’ve had breastfeeding challenges previously, anticipate a cesarean birth, or just want to be informed and prepared. Having an understanding of what is normal and expected can help you advocate for yourself wherever you give birth.

Outside of sessions, I am available to you via email to address any questions and concerns. I service the Tulsa Metro area and presently accept private payment.
