WHAT FAMILIES ARE SAYING ABOUT LINDSAY.
Christine and Blaine B.
“Lindsay was an absolute joy to have in our postpartum season. She is an incredibly talented chef and prepared so many delicious (and toddler approved) meals, and helped me navigate any breastfeeding challenges that came up along the way. Most importantly she made me feel seen, validated and nurtured in a very vulnerable season of our lives. We are so grateful for her!”

“Lindsay came into our family's life at exactly the right moment - 10 days postpartum as first-time parents. We thought we were prepared for the newborn journey, but breastfeeding and pumping setbacks, sleep deprivation, and heavy postpartum emotions and stress threw us for a loop. Lindsay offered an open and empathetic ear for my lactation concerns and was an invaluable resource for all things breastfeeding, pumping, and caring for our baby.
As the days went on with our newborn, we realized there were so many things we had to learn. We were beyond lucky to have Lindsay with us each week to help us with babywearing, witching hour remedies, bathtime, mealtime and naptime expectations, and so much more. Everything became less daunting and more manageable with Lindsay's help! After a few weeks with Lindsay, we got to experience her skill in the kitchen - what a blessing it was to have home-cooked, nutritious, and delicious meals on hand for the week.
We cannot wait to have Lindsay back for more time with our family - she's a huge reason we were able to make it through the challenges of the first six weeks of newborn life and enjoy our new normal with our amazing baby girl! Thank you for all that you do, Lindsay!”

“Lindsay came at the perfect time in my postpartum journey. She made me feel understood and heard when it came to my frustrations with pumping and my breastfeeding journey. I had already accessed my hospital and pediatrician's IBCLC and never really felt like they understood what I was needing help with. Having Lindsay be able to come into my home and help me with various different postpartum concerns and frustrations was incredibly helpful, especially during a time when it feels impossible to leave the house! Lindsay offered support, expertise, and a therapeutic like listening ear during such a vulnerable time. She was fantastic at following up, providing any referrals and reminders of what we had discussed during our time together, which was SO helpful for me! Added bonus was the incredible snacks she made for us, her granola is beyond! Thank you so much for the support Lindsay, you are a blessing!”

“We were lucky enough to be Lindsay’s last clients in Brooklyn. I engaged Lindsay as a first time Mom-to-be because, even though I knew I would have a lot of support from my mother and husband in our first few weeks of my daughter’s life, I also knew I’d want someone to hold our hands as we learned to navigate early parenthood. My hope was to have someone who would answer the many questions I expected to have and take me through some baby basics, but Lindsay was so much more! She came in and was this magical trouble shooting machine - we’d basically download the problems of the week to her and she’d have solutions. This helped us feel so much more confident in those early weeks.
In addition to having these magic powers, she also was: the sweetest with our daughter, allowed me time to myself + to rest, cooked us delicious meals (and accommodated my pickiness), taught us how to use all of the baby gear we had bought, and was completely non-judgmental and helped me think through complicated decisions like breastfeeding. Thank you, Lindsay!!”

Lindsay was a godsend to me for the first few weeks after my daughter was born. Her energy and presence are so calming and kind, especially in potentially overwhelming situations - and as a first-time single mother, this was invaluable.
After some difficult days & nights breastfeeding, Lindsay’s guidance saved me; her kindness, support, and advice gave me the confidence I needed to relax and persist with it! Lindsay helped me with everything from swaddling techniques and the first bottle and bath, to setting up the stroller - and so much more!
The meals she prepared were not only delicious and nutritional but also plentiful (with leftovers for the freezer!). I will be forever grateful for Lindsay’s support during the amazing first weeks and I would recommend her postpartum doula services to anyone; she will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Lindsay was a valuable member of our team in our first two weeks home from the hospital. She helped us out enormously with breastfeeding tips, burping tricks, and calming techniques. I was especially grateful to have her assistance when I woke up with a clogged milk duct one week postpartum. She was reassuring and helped me to resolve the situation at home, and likely saved me a trip to the doctor.
She was warm, loving, and patient with our daughter. She looked over our daughter while we went outside for some much needed fresh air. Her cooking was absolutely fantastic. Some of our favorite dishes were the baked ziti, miso soup, and pumpkin bread. From folding laundry, helping us sort out all the incoming baby clothes, and helping figure out how to assemble our stroller, Lindsay was super helpful. We would highly recommend her to any new parents!”

“We were incredibly happy to have Lindsay as key support during the first couple months of being parents. She is such a calming presence and is so intentional about how she supported our family. We were eager to work with Lindsay after a referral from a friend and because of the range of support she provides; we were not disappointed. She fed us nutritious and delicious meals, allowed us to rest without worry after rough nights, and was a listening and supportive ear as we progressed through the early weeks. Working with Lindsay was one of the best decisions we made as we prepared for postpartum.”

“Lindsay’s support during our first few weeks as parents was incredibly helpful. Her guidance with breastfeeding saved us and she did an amazing job equipping us with the tools we needed for our first months of parenthood. And if that wasn’t enough, her cooking is incredible!”

“Lindsay helped ease our transition into parenthood immensely during the first few weeks following Lazlo’s birth. In fact, she came over earlier than agreed upon to help address an emergent breastfeeding issue. Her willingness to throw herself into the fray of our household and adapt to our needs proved to be a lifeline for us. Her healthful and delicious cooking, relaxed temperament, and breastfeeding expertise provided us with the support we needed to in turn devote our time and energy to Lazlo (& ourselves!). I’d recommend Lindsay in a heartbeat to anyone looking for postpartum support.”

“Lindsay provided wonderful, nurturing support to our family right after we welcomed our second child. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Her skill set is absolutely perfect — she makes DELICIOUS, warming comfort food that’s nutritious and easy to digest in the weeks post birth. She was flexible and accommodating about what she cooked and how helped with tasks around the house. Lindsay also helped enormously with troubleshooting breastfeeding, including latch and oversupply issues. Maybe most of all, she provided a calm, non-judgmental and supportive presence during a difficult time of adjustment and emotional ups and downs. She was a sounding board on how to help our older child adjust to the new addition and also helped me process and cope with a negative hospital experience. In short, postpartum can be really hard and Lindsay helped make things so much easier. It was a great decision for our family!”

“Lindsay was incredibly helpful as our postpartum doula. She provided support in so many ways during those few weeks after giving birth. Lindsay is an amazing chef and made sure our family was fed and nourished by making some meals in her time with me. Her meatballs were out of this world! As a second time mom, I had the hang of breastfeeding but as things came up, Lindsay was an incredible resource to remind me about positions and tips to help with nursing my baby. Lindsay was also helpful in helping my husband and I mentally adapt to life with a newborn again and ways to deal with lack of sleep. Overall she was incredibly helpful and I am lucky to have worked with her during this special time.”

“Lindsay was extremely helpful in the weeks after our daughter was born. Everything felt so overwhelming and new to us as first-time parents, so we reached out to Lindsay for some postpartum assistance. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us multiple referrals to specialists, groups, websites, apps and steered us in the right direction with many questions we had. She helped a lot with some breastfeeding issues I was experiencing as well. She also helped out tremendously by making some excellent batch meals that we were able to enjoy for several weeks. Lindsay helped with things such as helping us give our daughter her first bath, nail filing, breastfeeding and positions, pumping and storage of milk, the 5 S’s, etc. Would highly recommend her!”

“Lindsay was very nurturing and intuitive about our family’s needs. If she knew I needed rest, she would diaper the baby, and bring him to me to be fed. She helped me find more comfortable positions for breastfeeding, which also allowed me to rest while feeding. She guided me through setting up for pumping, and techniques on how to express the most milk. She was very holistic in her approach and her cooking kept that stressor off my mind. Not only was Lindsay a good cook, but she made thoughtful, healthy meals providing for plenty of leftovers, which was very helpful! She was a wonderful resource and help to our family.”
